Antique Bookend Shoppe

This set is high quality and beautifully detailed. The elephant is fully figural standing on a base modeled to look like rock and earth with moutains and trees on the backplate. Even the rear of the backplate is finished with an elaborate design. Each bookend stands 4 1/4" tall, 4 3/4" wide, 2 1/2" deep and weighs 2 lbs. 14 oz. They are in very good condition. One top corner edge has a flattened area. The finish is nearly perfect. The tusks, ears, and tail are intact. A wonderful, old, original set. Authenticity is assured as both are marked LV ARONSON 1923 on the rear.
