Antique Bookend Shoppe

This very rare set of art nouveau bookends features a nude woman standing inside a floral wreath. Each bookend stands 6" tall, 4 5/8" wide, 2" deep and weighs 2 lbs. 7 oz. They are made of solid cast iron. These are very high quality. The condition is very good with that 'softness' only found in old, original cast iron.  These are numbered '16" on the back.  The foundry identity is not specifically known although it is one that has similarities to other high quality bookends which they had produced. Collector's refer to the unknown maker as X-2.
