'POLO PLAYER' by LITTCO Antique Bookends 1920's

This is a rare original set of bookends featuring a polo player riding his horse. Circa 1920. The polo player has his arm positioned on his mallet preparing to swing and hit the ball. There is a ball on the base under the horses front leg. Really nice set. These were made by Littlestown Hardware and Foundry, Littlestown, PA known as LITTCO. They are made of cast iron. Each bookend stands 4 1/2" tall, 4 1/8" long, 1 3/4" deep and weighs almost 1 lb. (2 lbs. for the pair). They are in very good original antique condition with minor casting flaws and rust. There are no breaks, repairs, or, touch-ups.
