Antique Bookend Shoppe

This is a traditional set of bookends featuring the famous 'Sower' boy who some refer to as Johnny Appleseed. He is walking while taking handfuls of seeds from his pouch and sowing them. A classic. Each bookend stands 4 3/4" tall, 4" wide, 1 3/4" deep and weighs a pound. Authencity is assured as each is signed on the front '1925' and the Snead hallmark. The rear of the backplate is imprinted: SNEAD and CO., JERSEY CITY, NJ, PATENT PENDING.
