'SKIERS SKIING' vintage bookends C. JERE ARTISAN HOUSE
This very rare set of bookends feature a skiier going down the slopes. The skier in this rare and original set of bookends is made of bronze while the slope is made of quartz stone. Each bookend stands 6" tall, 5 1/2" wide, 6 1/2" deep and weighs 5lbs. 14 oz. They are signed C. Jere on the top of the ski. This remarkable set of bookends was produced by the two founders of Artisan House, Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels. The signature C. Jere which can be seen on the skis is the combination of both their names. The company created metalwork and household accessories.
