This set is old and original with the unmistakable 'softness' of old cast iron. Each bookend stands 5 1/2" tall, 3 3/4" long, 2 1/2" wide and weighs 4 lbs. 2 oz. They are in good condition. We believe they are American made from 1920 or so.
